Molino couple sentenced for animal abuse
MOLINO, Fla. -- A Molino couple will spend the next 36 months on probation after starving their dogs, and growing pot in their back yard.
Amanada Oswald and her husband, John Oswald, both pleaded no contest to felony charges of producing marijuana, and animal cruelty.
Last September, Escambia County deputies found several starving pit bulls, alongside marijuana plants in the couples back yard.
In addition to probation the pair will also have to complete 50 hours of community service at the escambia county animal shelter.
