Detectives say a family dog found the body of a baby, and brought it back to a house.
A woman staying at the home immediately called 911.
Investigators believe the baby was dumped in the woods and left for dead.
Neighbors say this time of crime is horrifying.
"A death is bad anytime, but when it's someone who didn't even get an opportunity to start life, that's just absolutely horrible."
