Cat found beaten and burned on Mobile Highway
ESCAMBIA COUNTY -- A cat is recovering after being found bound and badly burned off Mobile Highway this weekend.
A couple saw the cat limping through their neighborhood Saturday so they brought her into the Humane Society.
The Humane Society says the 8-month old feline had second degree burns on her back and cuts to her sides.
They believe the injuries are old but that she never got treatment.
But for now she has been prescribed antibiotics and pain medication.
