Shipwreck resurfaces on Johnson Beach
PERDIDO KEY -- A shipwreck recently resurfaced on Johnson Beach in Perdido Key, Escambia County.
The Superintendent of Gulf Islands National Seashore says it shows up every once in a while, when the sand shifts.
"It's probably a couple hundred years old, it's not something you come across every day."
Park visitors are welcome to check it out with the reminder that it's an archaeological site and should not be disturbed.
