Century man in custody after police stand-off
CENTURY, Fla. -- A Century man is in jail after a stand-off with deputies on Tuesday.
Escambia County sheriff's deputies say they were trying to serve a warrant on Isaac Mitchell when he barricaded himself inside his home on Alger Road with a gun.
Mitchell eventually jumped out of a bedroom window and ran into a nearby convenience store. Deputies say after negotiating with Mitchell on the phone, he finally came out of the store.
He now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
