Late State Representative Clay Ford honored in House Chambers
TALLAHASSEE -- The late State Representative Clay Ford was honored today in the House Chambers.
Ford, a republican from Gulf Breeze, died Monday after a battle with cancer.
Tears were shed and memories shared by his former colleagues.
House Speaker Will Weatherford says Ford would want members to continue fighting to improve Florida.
"He would want us to remember what a special place this is. He would want us to remember the honor that we have serving here. "
Ford was 74 years old.
