Pensacola man faces life sentence for 2010 murder case

A Pensacola man will spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering a woman and dumping her body in the woods.

Joshua Douglas was convicted in April for the first degree murder of Jamie Broxson in 2010.
Broxson's body was found near a Gulf Power substation near Nine Mile road.

Investigators found DNA evidence linking Douglas to the murder.
A jury had recommended the death penalty.
But the judge sentenced Douglas to life in prison.
