Study shows migraines could change structure of your brain

New research suggests migraine pain may permanently change your brain's health.
   
The new study, published in the journal "Neurology" shows that people who suffer from migraines may be at risk of structural changes in the brain.
   
The researchers say people who get migraines have an increased risk of brain lesions, which are tiny scars on the brain.
   
That can increase your risk of stroke.
About 36 million people in our country suffer from migraines.
