Wahoos' fans get full range of the stadium. The concession stands and party decks.

But, there are some areas that are off limits.
A behind the scenes look at the players' locker room.

It's not the cleats, glove or jersey that makes a
It's a place not many people get to see.

The Blue Wahoo's Locker Room. It's the save haven for players moments before a big game.

A lot goes into organizing this room. This man -named Daniel Rose- is known as the team dad and has a tough job. 

He's responsible for cleaning the players shoes, their uniforms, and making sure the players have absolutely everything they need.

"I take care of all the players and their family. If they are on the road and a player calls me and tell me their wife broke down, I go get her."

WAHOOS DROP FIRST GAME OF THE SERIES, 3-1, TO BISCUITS

Wahoos get just three hits in rain-shortened game at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium

The Montgomery Biscuits took the first game of the series 3-1 over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in a rain-shortened contest. The Wahoos (6-5) had the tying run at the plate with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning when the game was forced into a rain delay. The rain persisted and came down even harder during the hour and twenty minute delay. Montgomery (6-5)scored two runs in the top of the first, which would prove to be all the Biscuits needed.

RHP Carlos Contreras (1-1) struggled to find his command early in the contest and gave up 3 R/ER in five innings of work while striking out five Biscuit batters.RHP Tim Adleman made his first appearance of the year for the Wahoos after being called up on April 12th; Adleman pitched 1.0 innings and gave up no runs or hits.

The Wahoos struggled at the plate and only mustered three hits through 5.1 innings.Left fielder Donald Lutz went 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Lutz was stranded on third base when the game was called in the bottom of the sixth. Juan Duran went 1-for-2 with a double and a strikeout. 

RHP Victor Mateo (1-2) pitched the entire game for the Biscuits going 5.1 innings,giving up 1 R/ER and striking out four batters.

Left fielder Taylor Motter went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. First baseman Cameron Seitzer had an RBI on his 1-for3 night.

The Blue Wahoos return to the field on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. to take on the Biscuits. The Wahoos will send RHP Daniel Corcino (0-2, 2.57) to the mound while the Biscuits will counter with RHP Dylan Floro (0-0, 7.71).

Team Tuesday - Fans are encouraged to come early for a complimentary pregame autograph session by select Blue Wahoos players. The autograph session begins at 5:40 p.m.

Wednesday, April 16 - Montgomery Biscuits vs. Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 6:30 p.m. RHP Jared Mortensen vs. RHP Robert Stephenson

Papa John Appearance - John Schnatter, founder of Papa John's, will be in attendance to throw out the first pitch and sign autographs. Media interviews for Schnatter must be scheduled in advance through the Wahoos media department. The concession stands will serve Papa Johns pizza in honor of Schnatter's visit.

Hi-Chew Wednesday - Every Wednesday enjoy games, prizes and a post game Kids Run the Bases presented by Hi-Chew.

Women's Club - The first Bella Blue/ Gulf Winds/ Woodlands Women's Club event is at So Gourmet at 5:30 p.m. Members will pick up their club shirts and welcome packets and enjoy a cooking class. Fans can sign up for the Women's Club at BlueWahoos.com.

Thursday, April 17 - Montgomery Biscuits vs. Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 6:30 p.m. RHP Michael Floro vs. RHP Jon Moscot

Thirsty Thursday and Wahoos Waddle  - Take part in the Wahoos Waddle, a concourse crawl, featuring drink specials and Thirsty Thursday exclusive deals: $2 drafts at concession stands, 2-for-$6 domestic bottles and $1 canned sodas. Thirsty Thursday is presented by Seville Quarter.

Easter Egg Hunt -  Join Marcus Pointe Baptist Church and the Blue Wahoos for Egga-Wahooza on the Community Maritime Park lawn. Egga-Wahooza is a free Easter Egg hunt with 30,000 eggs, no game ticket required. Select eggs will be autographed by the Blue Wahoos. Registration begins at 4 p.m. with the Egg Hunt to follow at 5 p.m.

Wooden Egg Giveaway - The first 2,000 fans 12 and under will receive a Blue Wahoos wooden egg courtesy of Fisher Brown Bottrell Insurance.

Sunday, April 20 - Sonrise Service, 6 a.m.  - While the Blue Wahoos are away, Pastor Gordon Godfrey, Jr. and Marcus Pointe Baptist Church will once again host an Easter service on the field at sunrise.


WAHOOS’ POWER SURGE FALLS SHORT, 5-4

Stephenson knockedout after just two innings

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.-The Pensacola Blue Wahoos bats unloaded for three home runs in a 5-4 loss to the Huntsville Stars Friday night at Joe Davis Stadium in Huntsville.  The Stars broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the eighth on a solo home run from Mitch Haniger, which proved to be the winner.The Wahoos have now dropped three straight at the hands of the Stars.

In an encore to his 11 strikeouts in his 2014 debut, Wahoo starter Robert Stephenson battled his control and was knocked out after just two innings. He was tagged for 3R/ER on 5 hits with 2 walks and 0 strikeouts. After the Stars loaded the bases to start the second inning against Stephenson, singles from Stars pitcher Taylor Jungman and DVontre Richardson and a sacrifice fly from Josh Prince gave Huntsville a 3-0 lead.

Pensacola rallied back with a two-run homer from Juan Duran inthe fourth. Rey Navarro blasted his second home run in as many nights with a solo shot leading off the fifth to tie the game at three. Bryan Anderson launched his second home run of the season to start the sixth to give the BlueWahoos their first lead of the game, but it was short lived. An error in the seventh led to the tying run before Hanigers homer in the eighth put the Starsback in front for good.

Despite his struggles, Stephenson didn't factor into the decision. Jamie Walczak (0-1) took the loss with Stars reliever Casey Medlen(1-0) earning the win with a scoreless inning in relief. Arcenio Leon notched his first save of the season with a scoreless ninth.

The Blue Wahoos look to RHP Jon Moscot (0-0, 2.08) to snap the skid against Stars LHP Brent Suter (1-0, 1.80). First pitch is slated for 6:30 from Joe Davis Stadium.
