Erin Ovalle
Weekend Anchor / Reporter

Where are you from?
I was born in Boston Massachusetts and raised in a suburb outside of the city.

Where did you go to school?
I started my college experience at George Mason University then transferred to Gordon College where I graduated with a degree in Speech Communications and Political Studies.

Where have you worked?
I began working the day after I graduated at WEIU in Illinois. There I worked in front of the camera as a reporter/anchor and behind the scenes in production. Shortly after I moved on to Traverse City Michigan and reported for WPBN.

What is the best part of your job?
Every morning I wake up and report on something different. I love people and I love telling their stories. It's a great way to meet new people and make a difference in their communities.

What do I like to do when not at the station?
I love playing sports. I played tennis in college and any free time I get I try to hit the courts. I also enjoy cheering on New England sports teams, shopping, spending time with family and friends...and of course going to the beautiful beaches in our area. I'm very excited to be a part of Channel Three's News Team!.
