FLORIDA - As many as one in four voters are expected to cast their ballots by absentee or through early voting.

The increase in early voting is changing the political landscape for candidates buying advertising.

Still, the governor, who will vote on election day, says it's important for candidates to build excitement right up until the end.

Charlie Crist/Governor "I think a lot of people have already made up their minds, but it's always good to have a strong finish and run through the finish line. You all are in the business of information distribution and the more you can communicate with the people who are about to vote, who are waiting on Election Day, like a traditionalist like myself, I like to go vote at the poll. It's important to go get that information to people."

Early voting begins next Monday, and most large counties have already sent out and received back thousands of absentee ballots.Campaigns and Money
