A manhunt is underway for a gunman who shot four Miami-Dade Police Officers, killing one of them.

The shooting happened in Cutler Bay, a suburb of Miami.

The officers were conducting burglary surveillance when they stopped a man who was driving erratically..

Police say, the man opened fire with a high-powered weapon and then fled.

Officers swept through the neighborhood searching for the suspect.

He has been identified as Shawn Labeet, who was last seen driving a black Pontiac Vibe..

Police say, they believe there is also a woman and two children in that car..
