Florida and the Seminole Tribe are close to a deal to bring more gambling to Indian Casinos in the state.

The deal could bring the state 50-million dollars upfront and a minimum of 100-million dollars a year.

A tribal spokesman says it includes adding slot machines and some gaming tables.

Some key lawmakers say they are opposed to gambling....

The governor says he wants what's best for the state.

The federal government wants an update on the negotiations by tomorrow.

A deal is expected by the end of the week.

"I don't feel, you know, that we have to do it. I want to do it if it's good for Florida. That's always been my feeling. We're trying to get the best opportunity for the taxpayers of our state."
