• ANGELS IN OUR MIDST
Over the years, we've had the pleasure of sharing the stories of countless people who have, in some way, made a difference in the lives of others.

Sometimes there are the things that happen in our lives that are unexplainable by any laws of nature; there are no hands at work that we can see or feel.

C. J. Pipkins and others believe that's when the unseen angels are at work making miracles in our lives.

I'm looking for a miracle. I expect the impossible. I feel the intangible. I see the invisible.

We were thinking about adopting a baby. And I wanted to see about getting hormones to nurse.

A happy trip to the doctor quickly turned into a dark, downward spiral; starting with blood work.

C. J. Pipkins; They called me and said that my count was extremely high. It was over 2000 and anything over 35 is pretty much cancer.

Surgery confirmed that C. J. Pipkins, a mother of 12 and 13 year old daughters, had advanced stage ovarian cancer that had spread all over her body. After surgery, her doctor gave her a one in ten chance of survival.

Sammy Pipkins, C. J.'s Husband; I'm thinking, what am I going to do with two small kids because the surgery outcome was pretty devastating.

C. J.; We did get a second opinion. Went went on to John Hopkins and they didn't give us any hope so we came back....

I'm looking for a miracle. I expect the impossible.

Cassidy Pipkins, C. J.'s Daughter; Oh yes, we prayed a lot. They church was always there for us.

C. J.; I did videos for them. I did the videos for whenever they got married, whenever they graduated because, I mean, I know the statistics showed that I probably didn't have long.

Armed with not much more than faith and her family, C. J. Began debilitating treatments. At times, she admits her faith was tested.

C. J.; I remember just praying and looking at him and saying, "If you love me, if you love me you'll pray God takes me now. I can't do it another night. And I remember saying, "I can't do it. I just can't do it.

That was six years ago. Today, no sign of cancer and C. J.'s still here...A picture keeps it all in perspective.

Sammy; There can always be a worst day than today, you know type thing. 'Cause when you're been there, you know, it's like the bad hair days are not so devastating any more.

And there's more than one miracle to celebrate. Remember, this all started with plans to adopt a child; an adoption that had to be cancelled.

C. J.; He was born on a Thursday and we brought him home on Sunday and he'll be a year old in just a few days. He's our pride and joy. All boy. He's definitely a miracle. And he's just like his daddy.

Cassidy & Chelsea, C. J.'s Daughters; He needed a family and a mom and she's the best mom ever. God knew that we needed her so... God's will. Miracle? Um Humm, true miracle.

C.J. Plans to see Caleb grow up to graduate and get married too.

C. J.; I tell them all the time, just put "miracle" on my chart and just leave me along.

I'm looking for a miracle. I'm looking for a miracle. I'm looking for a miracle. I expect the impossible. I feel the intangible. I see the invisible...Angels In Our Midst (Miracles)
