They have been abused, neglected and abandoned and come from all kinds of backgrounds.

There is a woman who helps write new chapters in the stories of very tragic lives.

She is the Angel In Their Midst.

Tracy Frye, Cabot Heights Manager; Very Angry when they come in. They don't know who loves them, they don't know who cares for them.

Tracy Frye bears the brunt of that anger when the children come here to Cabot Heights...A residential foster group home for boys 13 to 17. By the time they get here, most have been bounced about from pillar to post.

The placement team worked all night...trying to find me a place to stay and they called Cabot and Miss Tracy said, bring him on in; because nobody else would take me.

At their ages, these boys know that their chances of being adopted are slim. The staff at cabot heights becomes their family...And miss tracy....

Miss Tracy makes sure the boys learn how to shop and cook, clean and budget money...All they need to know to fend for themselves out in the world.

She taught me how to behave and how to do the right things and not to try to screw up in life.

Don't give up, continue to work hard and take it one day at a time.

A mother's words of advice. The boys clamor for it as they vie for her attention. The residence holds eight and she's there for them all.

I asked about a church, whatever, she took me to church and took me out to eat. Miss Tracy's done so many things for me, I really don't know where to begin.

It is the ending that's hard for Miss Tracy. The state requires that when they turn 18, the boys have to leave here and the only family some of them know.
