UNTITLED - The 60 to 39 vote in the senate over the weekend has pushed the health care debate forward.

But the White House and democrats know if reform is to ultimately pass, the next step will have to be a giant one.

The 60 vote threshold was achieved with the help of three moderate democrats and Independent Joe Lieberman.

Republicans are united against the 2000 page piece of legislation, holding a laundry list of grievances.

But democrats deny their claims that it will lead to higher premiums and cuts in Medicare.

Senator Debbie Stabenow/(D) Michigan: "AARP is supporting what we did last night because it, in fact, protects and strengthens Medicare."

Senator Lamar Alexander/(R) Tennessee: " It has higher premiums, higher taxes, Medicare cuts, puts 15 million more low-income Americans into a medical ghetto called Medicaid."

The bill would require most Americans to get health insurance, while also requiring companies to offer health care for their employees
