OKALOOSA COUNTY - Charges are pending after an Illinois man was hit and killed by a truck in Okaloosa County last night.
Troopers say Marcus Williams was walking on State Road 85 as 71-year-old Ronald Ogle of Niceville was coming up behind him.
Williams stepped into the street and was hit by Ogle's dodge truck.
The impact threw Williams onto the shoulder of the road.
He was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center where he later died.
