OKALOOSA COUNTY - Starting December 1st... Okaloosa County water and sewer customers will see their bill go up by 4%.
The county's water and sewer director says the increase was needed because water is becoming more expensive and more regulated by the government.
A request to increase rates again on March 1st of next year... and every year until 2013 was shot down by the county's commissioners.
But commissioners did agree to revisit the issue during their yearly budget process.
