Some other prominent FSU supporters have called for 80-year-old Bowden to retire at the end of this season.
But when Bowden and the governor made an appearance together yesterday... Crist said that Bowden has been great for FSU, the state of Florida, and college football.
He also said that Bowden should keep coaching.
The Seminoles are 5 and 5 this season, and have two regular season games remaining.
