OKALOOSA COUNTY - Okaloosa County Commissioners have *tentatively approved a concept plan that could allow the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge Center to set up a rehab clinic.
Commissioners voted on that proposal yesterday.
The Wildlife Refuge wanted to lease more than four acres on the former 35-acre island golf center property, which is next to the Emerald Coast Conference Center.
But they're also looking at a county-owned property in Niceville.
The Wildlife Refuge currently rents less than half an acre in Destin.
