ESCAMBIA COUNTY - The victim of a weekend diving accident has been identified, and investigators are now examining his gear.

Fifty-one year-old Timothy Teagarden, of Suwanee, Georgia died during a dive to the Oriskany on Saturday.

The Escambia County Medical Examiner says they're sending Teagarden's equipment to the divers alert network.

That's a non-profit group that promotes safe diving and provides medical information about diving injuries.

The Medical Examiner also performed an autopsy on Teagarden's body yesterday.

1 dead after truck full of farm animals crashes

WESTON, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating a traffic accident in which a truck full of goats, pigs and chickens crashed into another vehicle, killing one person and several animals.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the accident happened Monday night in Broward County, about 15 miles north of Weston, when a flatbed truck jackknifed and was struck by another vehicle.

The driver of the second truck was killed, and dozens of animals thrown onto the road.

Some of the livestock escaped into the Everglades, and investigators fear they could become a road hazard.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
