LOCAL AREA - Veterans Day is being celebrated across the area today...
In Milton, a parade began around 9:45 this morning...And a Memorial Ceremony is now underway at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Plaza.
Channel Three's Bill Pearson joins us in downtown Milton...
There are other events going on around our area today to honor veterans.
The VFW on Lillian Highway in Pensacola is having an open house today at noon.
Also at noon... There will be a special flag raising ceremony at Uptown Station in Fort Walton Beach.
And at two, Atmore will hold a Veterans Day Parade.
It will begin at City Hall, travel down Main Street to Craig Street, and end at the YMCA.
