CRESTVIEW, FL - 240 American flags are now flying along State Road 85 in Crestview just across from Gulf Power.

It's called a "Healing Field".

Each flag bears the name of a Florida service member who was lost in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The sea of red, white and blue drew visitors, evan as the flags were being set up this morning.

One of them was the widow of Staff Sergeant Patrick Griffin, an Eglin Airman killed in Iraq in 2003.

Michelle Griffin "When you see things like this, and you realize how much time is put forth to it, you realize that people care, and you're not forgotten, and the sacrifices that your family has made, haven't been forgotten either"

There will be a dedication tomorrow morning at nine 'o'clock.

The Healing Field will stay in place for a week.
