The company will make that announcement during a news conference in a little less than an hour.
That change means an additional 35 million people would be eligible for USAA coverage.
USAA's will now be available to *all honorably discharged service members, widowers and un-remarried ex-spouses.
USAA offers a wide range of insurance and financial services that are typically much cheaper than other insurance companies.
Right now, USAA serves more than seven million current and former military members and their families.
