PENSACOLA - Investigators are trying to determine how a pregnant Pensacola woman was killed.

25-year-old Samira Watkins was found on the west bank of Bayou Grande by Syrcle Drive around two Tuesday afternoon.

Family members say Samira was found in a duffel bag on the shore.

Investigators aren't saying much, but they do believe she knew her attacker.

Samira Watkins told family Thursday night that she was on her way to talk to the father of her unborn baby.

Nobody saw or heard from her after.

"Probably just got into an argument, and things just said that should be said, and it was taken the wrong way."

Samira's sister April Joseph says Samira only knew the man for a few months.

Family members says the man is a married sailor who gave the family a fake name. They say the two didn't always get along.

"They passed a couple words a couple times, but no threats."

Investigators say the man has been interviewed and he's not being considered a suspect at this time.

But Samira's uncle Noel Joseph says investigators told him they were concentrating the case on the married man.

"She just hooked up with the wrong guy."

"She never brought him around her to introduce him to us. She was pregnant by the guy, don't know why she never brought him around."

That's a question the family will never be able to asked their loved one.

Samira left behind a four-year-old son.

"He always just say, 'she coming back?' 'She at work,' and stuff, and we try to explain to him, but it's hard to explain to a four-year-old that his mom isn't coming back."

Samira Watkins was a manager at the McDonald's on Pine Forest Road and a student at PJC.

Investigators are still looking for her car. It's a 1997 Ford Taurus with the Florida tag number B387FP.

The Medical Examiner is awaiting some test results before they can announce a cause of death.

LA Toyota dealer settles lawsuit
March 10, 2010 20:16 EST

CERRITOS, Calif. (AP) -- A suburban Los Angeles Toyota dealer has settled a civil lawsuit over statements allegedly made to convince customers to lease rather than buy vehicles.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office said Wednesday that Power Toyota Cerritos agreed to pay $172,000 in penalties and costs without admitting liability.

An investigation by the California Department of Motor Vehicles found that the dealer falsely advised customers that they did not qualify for a loan or that it was in their best financial interest to lease.

Prosecutors say the practice resulted in greater commission for the sales staff involved and higher prices for customers.

Power Toyota Cerritos is owned by Mr. Wheels Inc., headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
