MOLINO - Tonight people in the town of Molino are on high alert. This morning there was a second home invasion in just four days. And, again another teenage cheerleader was attacked inside her house.

It happened on Nancy Lane, off of Highway 95-A around 8:30 this morning.

Channel Three's Liz Nagy is live in Molino with the latest.

This is the Highland Baptist Church where a young 16-year-old girl ran this morning after fighting off a masked attacker in her kitchen.

Moments before it happened the victim said she texted her mom saying she was scared to be alone after the same thing happened to her friend on Friday night.

The text message she sent to her mom Tuesday morning said "I'm just paranoid about being alone".

Minutes later this sixteen year old cheerleader had to fight for her life when she said a man in a mask came through her laundry room.

"I grabbed glasses and started throwing them at him. He pushed me down and started cutting me."

Her mother, Angela, left her daughter armed with pepper spray that the victim says she grabbed just in time.

"he fell back and grabbed his eyes and I just ran."

"She called me after she had escaped and was running down the driveway, hysterical."

"I told her to just keep running toward the church, that someone would be there."

The victim was home sick from school alone.

"I couldn't get to her quick enough. I was saying, 'I can't believe this has happened again.' It just happened."

Friday night a 13-year-old cheerleader was attacked in her bedroom also on Highway 95-A.

The victim's mother, Brenda, says she thinks the attacks are personal and intentional.

"He knew her name. He told her, 'Lana, I'll be back to finish the job.'"

Police say neighbors reported seeing a guy get away in a gold or gray car, but right now they have no suspects

"The only way we'll feel safe is when this guy is caught. Either by an angry dad hunting this man or by police."

The victim wasn't severely hurt, but she did have scratches all over her face and the rest of her body.

People are on the lookout for a suspect in the area.

In the meantime these girls say they won't be alone.Second Home Invasion in Molino Area Leaves Residents Stunned
