CHIPLEY, FL - The search for an infant who disappeared from her home in the Florida Panhandle is expanding.

Channel Three's Mollye Barrows has the latest on what's being done to find the 7-month-old girl.

Search and rescue workers are scouring the area near the child's home in Chipley.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says 7-month-old Shannon Dedrick disappeared sometime between 3 am and 11 am on Saturday.

Since then, authorities, volunteers and K-9 teams have been searching near the home.

Shannon is described as two feet tall and 11 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

The sheriff's office is asking the public to continue calling in tips.

Sheriff Bobby Haddock, Washington County, Fl: "All tips are being thoroughly investigated and I would ask that you continue to contact our office at 638.6111 if you have any information concerning this missing child."

Again that number for the Washington Sheriff's Office is 850-638-6111.
