CRESTVIEW - Crestview police have arrested one person, and are searching for another in connection with a shooting last night.
It happened around eight oh-clock,
Near the intersection of Bay and Savage Streets.
Witnesses told investigators that several people were gathered around a fire barrel, when two armed men approached them.
They say one of the men was looking for someone who was not at that gathering..
But when 35-year-old Jeffery Brown tried to diffuse the situation, he was shot.
Brown died shortly after being taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center.
Crestview police have arrested 30-year-old Jasper Brown.
He is charged with an open count of murder.
Now, they're looking for 28-year-old Eddie Rice.
He's considered to be armed and dangerous.
