ALABAMA - Alabama's Agriculture commissioner says heavy rains have damaged some of the state's crops...

Causing poor harvesting conditions and quality.
The commissioner says farmers are in potential crisis mode if they don't get dry weather within the next two weeks.

He also says most were expecting a bumper crop before September, but then the heavy rains started.

The most affected crops are: cotton, soybeans, corn, and peanuts.
