MOLINO, FL - An Escambia County neighborhood is in shock tonight, after a 13 year old girl was attacked in a home invasion.

The break-in happened Friday night, on the 7000 block of Highway 95-A In Molino.

Friday night means football for the Clayton family, with three boys who play for Northview High School. But soon after they left for this week's game, someone tried to break into their home, with their 13 year old daughter still inside.

I'm devastated, we got no sleep last night.

Brenda Mcall's cell phone rang around 6pm...On the other line, one of her neighbors, with news no parent wants to hear.

She was hysterical on phone, calls and tells me someone broke in, I thought she said her house, then she said, no, your house.

The intruder broke in through this window, but before he could take anything, he heard someone else in the house...The family's 13 year old daugher, Lana.

She said mom, I was in my room, I heard some strange noise, I turned my TV down, I looked up, and there was a man in my room with a ski mask.

The man threw her onto the bed and held her down.

He had a kitchen knife during the attack, cutting her 12 different times in her hands.

She struggled entire time, she was able to flip over, kick the guy off, and she ran out of her bedroom window.

He was chasing her a first, then he screamed at her and told her, I'll be back to finish the job.

Lana made it to safety at a friend's house, when deputies were called. After neighbors heard about the incident, and Lana's description of her attacker, people quickly realized they had seen him before, walking the neighborhood with another man.

The duo had been spotted four times over the past week, with one sighting just two hours before Friday's attack.

I hope they are caught, that was my child, I will do anything it takes to protect my child.

The 13 year old is staying with her grand parents in Mobile, still scared to come home after the attack. Deputies are still looking for those two suspects, if you have any information, you are asked to call Crimestopper, 433-STOP. Molino Home Invasion Leaves Young Girl Injured

Feds bust Palm Beach County drug ring
November 21, 2009 12:15 EST

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Federal authorities say they've have broken up a Palm Beach County drug trafficking ring that sent more than 175,000 oxycodone tablets from South Florida pain clinics to the Appalachian Mountains.

At least 20 people were indicted on drug selling charges in an operation that reportedly ran from January 2006 to Oct. 14. Court documents partially unsealed Thursday show that 10 of the people charged are from Palm Beach County and two from Broward.

Authorities say the scheme earned at least $5 million by selling painkillers in Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.

The trafficking case began as a probe by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office but expanded to include the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
