PENSACOLA, FL - Should the city of Pensacola go forward with its sale of up to 48-million dollars in bonds for the Community Maritime Park?

That's a question city voters may have to decide.... and it's also the topic of Channel Three News In Focus This Sunday morning.

Former city councilman Marty Donovan chairs a group which has started a petition drive to push the bond issue to a citywide referendum vote.

He argues that the city lied to voters about the cost and scale of the Maritime Park project in 2006.

Mayor Mike Wiggins disagrees.

"I really believe that we're on the right track, and its just so unfortunate that, we have to, in essence kind of stop, and see what's gonna happen with this initiative that's on the table."

"The question that the taxpayers have to ask, is do we want to be on the hook, do we want this pick up this 90 million dollar check, and is that what we were promised."))
