CRESTVIEW, FL - A Crestview woman remains in Sacred Heart Hospital tonight after being rescued from a house fire yesterday.
When firefighters arrived at the West Walnut Street home around 6 last night, they found heavy smoke coming from her duplex apartment.
The woman and her dog were pulled out.
Weather conditions prevented a life flight helicopter from taking her to Pensacola, so she was transported by ambulance.
The woman's name and the extent of her injuries have not been released.
