OKALOOSA COUNTY - There's a new development in a homicide case in Okaloosa County.
Richard Melton has pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges in the death of Donald Gillis.
Police say, Melton and Gillis were fighting outside of the First Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach on April 5th.
Melton hit Gillis on the head with a piece of wood.
He died 11 days later.
Melton faces up to 25 years in prison.
