FORT WALTON BEACH - A man accused of killing another man outside of a Fort Walton Beach church, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges.

Police say Richard Melton and Donald Gillis were arguing outside of the First Baptist Church on April fifth.

That's when Melton hit Gillis on the head with a piece of wood.
Gillis was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, but later died.
Melton faces up to 25 years in prison.
He will be sentenced on December 29th.
