ESCAMBIA COUNTY - It happened a week ago Thursday night: a man shot and killed inside an Escambia County bar, with surveillance video catching it all on tape.

Now, investigators believe they have the case solved.

It was part of an armed robbery at the Oakcrest Lounge on Fairfield Drive.

25-year-old Jared Ortiz was playing poker when two masked men came into the bar, and one shot Ortiz in the head.

Thursday afternoon, 20-year-old Brandon Davis of Pensacola surrendered to authorities.

And shortly after our six o'clock newscast, 20-year-old David Gilchrist, Jr. was captured at his home in the Mayfair community.

His picture is not yet available.

Both men are charged with felony murder and robbery.

Investigators believe Gilchrist is the one who actually fired the shot that killed Ortiz.

While those developments were unfolding, family and friends were gathering to remember Jared Ortiz.

Hundreds came out to his visitation earlier Thursday night.

Channel Three's Laurie Bernstein joins us with more.

When Jared Ortiz was randomly shot in the head last week, he was surrounded by his closest friends.

Those same friends, and even more, came out Thursday night, to say their goodbyes to the buddy they lost so suddenly.

"Jared told it like it is."

After the tears and the painful farewells at the side of his casket, Jared Ortiz's best friends still managed to laugh while reminiscing about his life.

"If you ever needed him, he was there, you could call him at 4 a.m...'What do you want? A ride? Okay, I'm on my way.'"

"Just knowing that he was the best friend and the greatest friend to each and every one of us."

Loved by everyone, hated by no one...that's what people say about the 25-year-old Washington High grad.

"I've known Jared since middle school, we rode bikes together through neighborhoods."

"Someone you could rely on, seemed to care about everyone."

Sheriff Morgan even made an appearance at the viewing, bringing good news of the two arrests made in the case.

Jared's mom, Marci, says it brings closure just in time for their final goodbye.

"It will help, burying Jared tomorrow, to know that they know who shot him and they're going to find him and find everyone involved. Gives lot of peace to me burying my son tomorrow."

For Jared's friends who saw him get murdered, they are more emotional about the news of the arrests.

"They deserve everything that's coming to them, they don't deserve to go to jail, get three meals, they don't deserve to play cards, they deserve to die, in the worst way possible."

Even though they will lay their best friend to rest Thursday, Jared's buddies try to look at the situation in a positive light.

"Tragedy brought us closer. It makes you realize the time you have with your friends is not guaranteed, you've got to live for today."

Jared's mom tells us there are two more suspects deputies are looking for besides Gilchrist and Davis.

She says Sheriff Morgan told her two other men drove the getaway car for the duo.

Mollye, back to you.

A private mass for Jared Ortiz will be held Thursday morning at ten o'clock at the chapel inside Sacred Heart Hospital.

The burial will follow at two o'clock at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens on West Nine Mile Road. Thoughts and Remembrances From Jared Ortiz's Visitation
