ESCAMBIA COUNTY - The State Attorney's office has released video testimony by a man who claims to have known beforehand that there was a contract on Bud Billings' life.

Hugh Wiggins came forward after making a deal for immunity with the state attorney's office.

He's admitted to owning the pistol used to kill Bud and Melanie Billings and located it for investigators.

Wiggins told investigators Patrick Gonzalez Junior... the alleged mastermind... told him Cab Tice had put out a 20,000 dollar contract on Bud Billings life.

He says he initially tried to talk Gonzalez out of it... But later admitted to giving advice while the robbery was being planned.

Wiggins also says Gonzalez expected more than a million dollars to be in the Billings home because they believed Bud Billings was laundering money for the Mexican Mafia.

Wiggins's wife Pam faces 30 years in prison... accused of accessory to murder after the fact .

Probation for teen who helped in murder plot
November 20, 2009 18:16 EST

MIAMI (AP) -- A 13-year-old Miami Beach boy accused in a murder plot has agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors.

His attorney says the boy accepted the deal Friday and will not serve any serious prison time.

In September, the teen was accused of joining the plot of a 15-year-old friend to kill the older boy's mother. The younger boy stabbed her, but the steak knife broke on her collar bone.

Police charged the son with conspiracy, solicitation to commit murder and tampering with evidence.

The 13-year-old pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of aggravated battery, reduced from the initial charge of attempted murder. He will be on probation for six years and must undergo regular psychiatric treatment.

The 15-year-old boy remains in custody.
