PENSACOLA - There are new details now about a Pensacola teenager who was hit and killed by a police cruiser....
Several sources close to the investigation say 17 year old Victor Steen had a loaded 9 millimeter handgun on him when he died.
Steen was riding his bike at a construction site earlier this month when officer Jerald Ard tried to stop him.
Ard thought Steen was acting suspiciously.
But Ard says Steen took off and during a chase, fell off his bike and into the path of his police car.
Steen's former step-father told us this is the first the family has heard about any gun.
We were unable to get in contact with Victor Steen's mother for comment.
