SANTA ROSA COUNTY - A long stretch of Interstate 10 was closed down today after a truck carrying anhydrous ammonia turned over in Santa Rosa County...

The accident happened on Avalon Boulevard near the I-10 overpass ... The truck had just come off Interstate 10 and was headed north on Avalon when it turned over...

That's where we find Channel Three's Greg Neumann he joins us with the very latest..

This area of Avalon Boulevard finally opened to traffic less than an hour ago... After being shut down shortly after ten am.

That's when the tanker flipped over ... As a precaution emergency crews also closed off I-10 in both directions from the Bagdad exit all the way to Scenic Highway in Escambia County.

At no point was the truck leaking the anhydrous ammonia but if it had there would have been a strong hazard of people inhaling it ... It also could have caused blisters and burns to the skin...

That's why everyone at the businesses on this exit were evacuated including the guests at the Red Roof Inn.

Residents in the area were not evacuated but a shelter in place notice was put into effect for a half mile radius...

Residents were asked to stay inside their home.

But again at no time did any of the ammonia leak out were happy to report even the driver walked away unharmed...

Feds bust Palm Beach County drug ring
November 21, 2009 12:15 EST

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Federal authorities say they've have broken up a Palm Beach County drug trafficking ring that sent more than 175,000 oxycodone tablets from South Florida pain clinics to the Appalachian Mountains.

At least 20 people were indicted on drug selling charges in an operation that reportedly ran from January 2006 to Oct. 14. Court documents partially unsealed Thursday show that 10 of the people charged are from Palm Beach County and two from Broward.

Authorities say the scheme earned at least $5 million by selling painkillers in Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.

The trafficking case began as a probe by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office but expanded to include the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
