OKALOOSA COUNTY - We're learning more about a boating crash that claimed the lives of three members of the same family this weekend.



Two boats collided near Marler Park, on Okaloosa Island Friday night... Killing George And Dorothy Brenner, And Jeane Srowson.



All three were from *Daphne.



Florida Fish And Wildlife Officials say George And Dorothy's son, Bill Brenner, was driving the boat when it collided with Destin Resident, Augusta Kennedy's boat.



Nobody else was seriously injured.



Early reports say Kennedy may have been *impaired.



Officials are waiting on toxicology results to see if alcohol was a contributing factor.



Lt. Mark Hollinhead says all navigational lights were working on both boats.



He also says the operators saw one another, but it was too late to *avoid a crash.



The boats were towed to the F-W-C compound in Pensacola, where the investigation continues.



We'll hear why some boaters on the island find it hard to believe this accident *couldn't have been avoided.



Friday's boating accident is the *deadliest on Okaloosa County waters in *six years.



In 2003, a mother and her 2 year-old daughter were killed, when their pontoon boat was struck by another boat, near the Cinco Bayou Bridge.More Information On Okaloosa Boat Accident
