NASP - Naval Hospital Pensacola will be closing early today, and will not re-open until Monday morning at seven.
The hospital needs to replace its emergency generator, which is more than 30 years old.
To do that, the hospital has to shut off the power for up to 12 hours.
The hospital will close at noon.
Patients who are in-house are being transferred to other area hospitals.
