SRIA Noise Meeting
SANTA ROSA COUNTY - A Santa Rosa Island Authority committee will hear a number of possible solutions today, to what some say is a growing noise problem in residential areas on Pensacola Beach.
This afternoon, Santa Rosa Island Authority executive director, Buck Lee, will present three options to an SRIA committee.
Those options: Adopt a noise ordinance similar to the county's ordinance, which leaves noise control to the discretion of a deputy.
The second option is to a have curfew when bands or DJ's must stop playing in residential neighborhoods,
And the third is to do nothing.
There will be no action taken on any of those options today,
But, the full SRIA could vote on the suggestions in two weeks.
