Memorial Held For Murdered Sailor
ESCAMBIA COUNTY - A Texas woman murdered while jogging in an Escambia County neighborhood was remembered today.
A private memorial service for 18-year-old Tyler Jefferson was held at the Corry Chapel.
Many of her friends and fellow sailors attended the ceremony.
Jefferson joined the Navy this summer.
Her body was found lying facedown on 49th avenue last Thursday night.
Investigators believe she was jogging when she was shot.
Robbery may be a motive.
