Destin No Wake Zones
OKALOOSA COUNTY - The Okaloosa County Commission must now make a final decision on No Wake zones in Destin Harbor.
The city council unanimously approved changes last night.
The resolution expands the harbor no wake zone to include an additional portion of East Pass and provides navigational buoys at the intersection of East Pass and Old Pass Lagoon.
Council members say the move was for safety, though Parasail businesses vehemently opposed it.
