Comment: I have lived in other cities with fluoride in the water; it was no problem. from Gulf Shores by B.
Comment: Fluoride should be a personal choice, not forced. from Pensacola, FL by Steve
Comment: I have served overseas in locations where they do not add Flouride to the water. I noticed there was a rise in cavities in my children. I dont believe that flouride tooth paste alone is enough. from Crestview by Air Force
Comment: As a 65 yr old who drinks onehalf case of bottle water a day or more, I stopped drinking tap water when the vote to add fluoride passed. At that time ECUA could not say how much fluoride was too much and what it does to a Senior Citizen as myself. from Pensacola/FLA by Frederick
Comment: I believe people should have a choice in accepting drinking water with fluoride especially when it has been reported that some communities have discontinued adding the sodium fluoride due to concerns of its composition and undetermined residue. Fluoride toothpaste is an economical option and easy to use. from Cantonment, FL by Judy
Comment: I believe we are over-flouridated from the water, toothpastes, mouth rinses and foods we eat. from P'cola Fl. by Paul
Comment: I think they should put fluoride in the water. My water is absolutely horrible and I have resulted in buying bottled water for my family. At least if they put fluoride in the water it might b better. from Pensacola, FL by Leo
Comment: Come on out of the dark ages folks. There are pros and cons to everything, but the rest of the country knows, and has known, the pros far outweigh the cons. I can't believe this is still even a rational debate. from Pensacola, FL by Steve
Comment: absolutely not! from p'cola fl by h
Comment: We have been drinking it for many years and I don't know anyone who has any ill effects from it. from Ft. Walton Beach FL by Roger
Comment: I've been drinking it for the better part of sixty-two years now; why ALL OF A SUDDEN should I start worrying about it? With all of our new technologies, GOD only knows how much 'stuff' is going into our bodies, that HE did not design them for. from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom
Comment: i say so because the water that's coming from the plant downtown is bad enough and that would make the problem even bad that's what i think. from pensacola fl by bestman
Comment: I wish floride had been in the water when I was growing up! I enlisted in 1962 . . . in the group of guys that came through basic and later tech schools, there were a lot from West Texas, where the water contains a lot of natural flouride. They uniformly had cavity free teeth, and I heard one dentist tell one of my friends that he had hard teeth, like everybody from West Texas. When I started using a floridated toothpaste back in the late 50's, I stopped having cavities. And I have not had a cavity since. I haven't had any cancers either. from Pensacola, Florida by Dave
Comment: The dentists would not have pushed for this if they had known the flouride being added to the water was not "medical grade". It is made from the run-off of a fertilizer plant. There's no telling how much damage has already been done to people. from Cantonment, FL by Linda
