| 42.42% | Yes | |
| 57.57% | No |
Comment: Not only "NO" but H*** NO!!! from Gulf Breeze, Fl. by Carol
Comment: Yes at this point there has been too many people interfering with progress for selfish reasons. This project would help everyone and personally the world is passing by the panhandle we must get on board if we are to help out the economy and us as residents. from Navarre, FL by Laurie
Comment: The museum is only one part of the park and hopefully it will eventually be built. But we need to move ahead on the rest of the park. It will be a benefit to the people of Pensacola and will enhance the downtown area. from Pensacola/FL by James
Comment: The downtown scam starts to unravel from Navarre by William
Comment: I think this is a classic case of bait and switch and we should have a revote. We don't need to spend Millions on a ballpark for a semi pro team that can't fill the seats where they are now. Sticking taxpayers with bills for a ballpark is Wrong. Let quint spend his own money on his park. from P'cola FL by Gaston
Comment: I vote for the park with the Admiral Federman Maritime Museum I beleave that this was the most important part of the park.. Now we should go out and do an RFP. And let some one who what they are doing to built the hole projest from Pensacola fl by David
Comment: Would be a waste of Money as it would only benefit the Ball team--not the general publick from Maryville,TN by Bob
Comment: I dont support the maritime park at all, I think it is another blunder this county is famous for making, remember the soccer complex??????????? from Cantonment< Fl by Jim
Comment: Yes, I support the park. I think it will make the area look really nice. from New Mexico Tech by Quantum
Comment: A lot of under the table money has now been lost. Crooks steal from crooks. Look who reacts first and wants to file suit. from Pensacola,FL by Flower
Comment: Do it while we can. from Pensacola by Franklin
Comment: Let's build this thing now. I'm tired of all these losers crying about "how are we gonna pay for it"! We need those minimum wage service jobs! I could care less how much it costs because I'm not a property owner. Let those rich homeowners pay! from East Hill by Mike
Comment: The maritime park is another example of spending into bankrupsy. STOP spending money you don't have. Other basic services need your attention, like founding fire and police to propper ISO requirements!!!! from PENS/FL by DAVID
Comment: I believe loss of the museum will cause a loss of interest by visitors. Although expensive, an aquarium would be a good draw. from Gulf Breeze, FL by Don
Comment: This project still has great potential in providing needed jobs and additional income to our community. from Pensacola by Samantha
Comment: Is UWF gratful of the grant they got for it?? So now it sits!! I wish I could get a grant to buy a house for myself I garantee I would have plans readyfor the money and not need that much!!! from Pensacola FL by Becki
Comment: Yes, of course! This question is poorly worded. The museum will be built, but as all of the private funds have not been yet raised, it makes sense to go ahead - so the city and developers can take advantage of the tax credits available. This does not mean no museum, it means a change in the sequence. Let's go! In any other city, the CMP would be operational by now. from Pensacola / Fl by Rick
Comment: It would be a great place for people to visit and a means of jobs and renvue for the city of P'Cola ! from Pace, FL by Kevin
Comment: No way, without the museum the park is just Studderville. His ballpark, his offices, and a few shops. It's a park, not a new shopping center. No museum = no park. from Pensacola, Fla. by Rob
Comment: Why build it in a place where every time we have a hurricane, the storm serge will damage it from Pensacola Fl. by Nathan
Comment: Sell the property for private development with a guaranteed development rate that produces a minimum of new tac revenue. Think about it, a positive cash flow instead of a negative bond payment. from Esc county
Comment: The park has been delayed enough. The museum can wait. from Pensacola by Courtney
Comment: To many other ways the money could be spent to help the people of Pensacola and the surrounding areas... from Niceville by Bob
Comment: The whole Maritime Park idea seems idiotic to me in such lean times. Instead of building castles-in-the-air type hopes and dreams, why is it so hard just to realize a more doable project. Like just a nice safe place with some grass and park benches where we can enjoy the water and maybe do some fishing? For the time being isn't that a more reasonable solution? from Pensacola/FL by Jan
Comment: Let's build a park for the people of Pensacola, NOT a baseball stadium for a Gulf Breeze resident! from Pensacola by Dale
Comment: no comment, just disappointed by Robert
