Comment: cause's more rear end recks plus .if you are not driving your car you should not get the tickrt from gulf breeze by renee
Comment: I believe threre will always be extenuating circumstances and that it would be safer to go through the light (if no traffic is approaching) rather than make an abrupt stop...and risk being rear ended, as was my situation which resulted in a nice picture of my license plate and a ticket by mail. By the way, I believe this has been stopped in the Tiger Point area and I would like a refund. I'd also like to know if the traffic behind me was ticketed as well. from Navarre by Tonya
Comment: Those who run red lights ought to be entered in the Spanish run of the bulls as penalty for their reckless behavior. Do we have to wait until they murder someone else before giving them a traffic ticket? from Pensacola / Fl by Rick
Comment: There is no mistake that a violation has occurred with these cameras. The cameras are are good way to keep people honest and people should have to pay fines if they violate the laws.
Comment: no wonder majority of police officers are overweight..cameras are doing their job of actually patroling and getting out of their vehicles meeting and talking to taxpayers. from Mary Esther,Fl by Ron
Comment: Lawinforement needs all the help they can get. from Pensacola by James B.
Comment: i oppose since the owner of the car gets ticketed when they may not even be driving the vehicle from pensacola, florida by david
Comment: Why if you ran a redlight ( see it everyday and not just a yellow/redlight) would you not deserve a ticket. Wait you ran a redlight and killed someone...would you think its not fair to have killed someone. Try it and see. Those who oppose this option to keep us safe are the light runners and have become used to getting away with it. Would one think you should be ticketed only "if you didnt run a red light" I you are your an idiot! And this county and city is overwelmed with idiots....including law enforcement who blow through a redlight @ Fairfield to make his or her favorite parking spot @ the Wafflehouse on Moblie Hiway. Yes you have idiots with badges too. from Pensacola,FL by Flower
Comment: Absolutely support. I'm out and about every day, and it never fails that I have close calls with red light runners. Catch-em-fine-um-suspend their liscense. from pensacola, fl. by jim
Comment: gee...i wonder how gulf breeze will ever make money if the red light cameras are dis continued... from p'cola fl by h
Comment: I'm all for it. Let's face it, our law enforcement personnel are too mesmerized with the notion of only getting involved with criminal law violations-so someone or something has to look after the 'minor' traffic infractions. Another 'fact of life' we should all be aware of: ANY VIOLATION OF ANY LAW IS A CRIME; ergo vilation of traffic law is a criminal act. from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom
Comment: It is so unconstitutional to fine a car owner and not the driver in person. from Milton FL by Daniel
Comment: A redlight runner ran into my wife 7 years ago and killed her. What do people want, a friggin medal for running a red light. There are twisted bitches in this world who think everything is ok. He was not drunk by the way, just hurring home to catch a friggin football game he did not want to mis. from Pensacola,FL by Will
Comment: I support them and we need more of them everywhere. Too many near misses everyday. from FWB by Jon
Comment: The only people that will oppose this are those that run the lights. Follow the law and you wont have any problems or wrecks from Pensacola by Jeff
Comment: I agree with Judge Bagley's decision. Cities assume power they do not have. It also should be considered unconstitutional because the camera only takes a picture of a vehicle, not a person. Therefore the vehicle violated the law, not a person. Who ever is sent the ticket has no option to confront their accuser (another person)in a court of law. from Pace, FL by Ronny
Comment: If you think it is wrong, it is because you willingly want to break the law. Believe me, you are not that important. from Pensacola by Frank
Comment: this is just another example of big brother intruding where he doesn't belong. If I loan my truck to someone else who get the ticket? from Baker by John
Comment: I think it would set a standard to allow technology to enforce our laws. from Pensacola, FL by Eric
Comment: i dont agree with that 50/50 percent yesterday.what about the law suit about the yellow lights time being deffrent. that caused a lot of recks.this is jest a nother way to rip us off. because they used the tax payers monet so badly.its all bout the money. from mary esther by george
Comment: absolutely not .It's just more big brother in our lives. We have more important things to worry about. No victim no crime. If you cause an accident due to running a light then you should pay. from pensacola by sam
Comment: As many red light runners there are 'yes' my husband and I both support camera's at the red lights. I have been driving for over 40 years and my husband over 50 and we have never seen so many red light jumpers as there are here. We have driven all over the Eastern seaboard..Maine, New Jersey, Maryland south Florida and here and all in between so we know what we are talking about. from pensacola by georgia
Comment: I do not support the right to use cameras at red lights and the only reason I oppose is because if I lend my car to someone trusting they will drive the right way,I would not want to recieve a ticket in the mail for something I did not do. from Milton/FL by Samanta
Comment: good job finaly following the lead of other states! I can not stand how reckless drivers are in pensacola. They need to be aware if you break the law you get fined. Then maybe those who gas the orange light will think twice from pensacola, fl by adam
Comment: Yes I support them unless I'm the one who gets caught of course. from Gulf Breeze, FL by Don
Comment: A study in some counties in Georgia proved that the yellow light was too short. After passing out tickets for some time, the yellow light was lengthened by only one second and the mumber of tickets issued was cut in half. from Destin, Fl by Harry
Comment: i oppose of using the cameras to give tickets but i support the use of cameras for monitering traffic flow from pensacola fl by adam
Comment: I support those cameras because I feel that those who obey traffic laws have nothing to worry about. I have had some close calls with red light runners. I wish Crestview had them from Baker, Fl. by Wally
Comment: If you try to make a maximum performance stop when the light turns yellow, there is a good chance you will get rear ended by the guy behind you who is tail gaiting you and talking on his cell phone. from Ft. Walton Beach FL by Roger
