Comment: A tax break is a tax break. A parent with several children to put through school can use every break they can get. I wonder how the dickens I got my family through school without these breaks. from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom
Comment: Definetly not. How bumb can Charlie Crist be to suggest this tax holiday yet the state can't even pay for unemployment without borrowing from the feds. The only real benefacyors of the tax holiday are the LARGE RETAIL STORES who as of late have been sneaking in price increases as fast as they can get to their computers. from pensacola fl by lou
Comment: The State Powers That Be double the fees for car tags, vehicle registrations, drivers licenses, fishing licenses, etc. and then do a feel good act like a tax holiday and we are supposed to forgive all. Well, I ain't bying it! from Crestview / FL by Doug
Comment: It would help parents and students out. What about uniforms? (in the high schools too!) from Pensacola,FL by Joann
Comment: It's a promotional sale that the state adds a small amount of support to - nothing wrong with it. Those who are strapped to buy needed school supplies are able to save a few bucks. Others may well do some more shopping - increasing taxes collected - seems like a harmless win-win. from Pensacola / Fl by Rick
Comment: That tax break really helps out the working middle class families! from Pensacola,fl by Summer
