Comment: We need to increase troop numbers if we are going to stay there. If not, bring them all home. Don't make our boys fight with hands tied. from Gulf Breeze, FL by Kathy
Comment: This is the 4th troop surge in Affy we have had. Whats the point that we couldnt do the 1,2,3,and 4th time. Waste of men and low table politics and lies. Time for a decisive President who dont wish wash with the moons gravitational pull. Anyone know where we can get one? from Pensacola,FL by Flower
Comment: I believe that with more troops they can protect one another better than with less troops. from Holley-Navarre, Florida by George
Comment: We are supposed to learn from history and not too long ago the Russians wasted their money and their young men's lives in that very same country. There really is nothing there but those precious poppies, is there? from Cantonment, FL by Carolyn
Comment: they were sent over there send them the help they need ! by p. k.
Comment: lets get in and get we need help from rest of th world when we kill inacent pepole abig deal is made when they do nothing is said only the # from penscola fl by james
Comment: I say yes, because as a career military man, you fight a battle to win. We should have sent in every thing we had, knowing what happened with the Russians, and brought the country, the Taliban and Osama's bunch out of existance. from pensacola fl by jim
Comment: PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW PUTTING OUR TROOPS AT RISK WITH NO DEFINITION OF VICTORY, BEYOND BENEFITTING INTERNATIONAL BANKSTERS, HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH OUR CONSTITUTION. WHO ARE WE SERVING AND WHY? Thank you. from Pensacola/Fl by Bill
Comment: Any one with any sense concerning foreign policy understands that we can not leave Afghanistan under any terms less than victory. To do will cost many, many lives of innocent people. And, leaving without a victory will empower the Taliban to work harder to kill more Americans around the world. They only believe in total world dominance. by Bill
Comment: We have to support the troops already there and not let them take a beating any longer. It's time to win the war, not prolong it. from Pensacola by Al
Comment: What has taken so long in getting this done?! Time to get serious, train the nationals and get out of there. Let's don't have another Viet Nam. from FWB by Jon
Comment: I support a troop increase, and the reason is that we in this nation have forgotten that the whole objective of a war is to win. Since WWII, no thanks to our bumbling politicians, our military has not seen a total victory. We have lost countless thousands of lives for what? Yes, we are still free, but to what extent - when we waste human life for naught. Put the troops in (a muzzle on Congress) and let's win the war, not leave with our tail between our legs. from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom
Comment: I think that there should either be a surge right away, or we should pull out right now. Don't leave our young men and women overseas without the proper numbers and support they need. It will cost more lives to be under-manned/under-funded. All in or all out. The troops are at war and our country is not. from Pensacola by Bill
Comment: We should give our troops the support they need to do the job. But we don't wwant to stay there. from Molino by Marian
Comment: Yes, but I want to know why you are not reporting on Judge David Carter refused to hear Obama's request for dismissal. This is regarding the fact thta obama is not a native born American. My question is why is he fighting the showing of the proof, as well as why are you scared to REPORT this news to us all? from Pensacola Fl. by Gary
Comment: It is the end of America we can not win Russia tried and got smart and withdrew . from Gulf Breeze Fla by Charles
Comment: I support it - ONLY if limited to specific areas - to protect large populations and allow an Afghan army to materialize. It is not feasible for the U.S. to control the 'country' - as it is not a country, but a collection of fiefdoms. from Pensacola / FL by Rick
Comment: losing situation
Comment: get out while we can from crestview by b
Comment: This is a never ending war. Bring our people home from Pensacola by Greg
Comment: I think we should just let them go back to killing each other and bring all troops home. We spend $1 million dollars a year per troop but yet we can't support the troops that have been injured and returned home. Obama needs to get his brain in the right place. We worry about to much overseas and not enough things here in the US from P'Cola by H
Comment: Win the war on what? How is being over there helping the world. Sorry, forgot that we have no oily interest. If there were oil in Africa we would be over there "saving them" Winning a war is not a football game. No one ever wins..its not a game of winning. from Pensacola,FL by Will
Comment: Why are we even there? from Pensacola/FL by Leonard
Comment: A qualified yes. But will it be enough? After six months of dithering? Will he let the Generals do their Job? from Pensacola by Robert
Comment: yes i support it, anything we can do to keep war from coming to our soil, cause if we don't we will be in war here in america. d.j. from pensacola,fl by d.j.
Comment: We owe the current US Troops adn Military command this support...BUT if teh Afgan Government and peoples do not provide full support to our efforts on their behalf, we should make it clear we are only going to do this ONE time and if no positive results in 6 to 9 months we should pull all troops, equipment, and any and all financial, material and personnel support from Afganistan and Iraq by 31 December 2010...enough is enough from Milton FL by Robert
Comment: I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. from Cantonment, Fl. by Jeff
Comment: Let us win one for a change from Milton by John
