Comment: Gambling = gambling, no matter how you slice it. God works not on chance but requires for us to work to make a living. from DeFuniak Springs, FL by Cesare
Comment: I was originally against bringing gambling into FL years ago however, that only made MS that much richer as the people that want to do that sort of thing just go over there. I feel if they are going to go there or even Atmore, AL, why not keep the money in FL to help our own state's economy. from Ft. Walton Beach, FL by Mildred
Comment: There is enough already. from Navarre FL by Ron
Comment: no thie will bring more crime. and when those loss more than they can . it will be children who pay for it. and if cris wonts it i do not from mary esther by george
Comment: I do not think there should be any gambling in Florida by anyone. We have the largest land based Air Base in the US or possibly the world, we have military bases all over the place. Lots and Lots of retirees who could get hook on gambling and lose their life savings. Young military personnel who could get into serious debt before they are financially mature. Plus a lot of local businesses would go out of business, not only restaurants but hotels and motels. And no matter what anyone says I believe where gambling is allowed to get a foothold so does organized crime; more than we already have and there will be more violence. I do believe the Seminole people should have some type of industry to help their people but casino's should not be one of them. from Niceville/FL by NightHawk
