Comment: Bigest Pork Barrel spending I ever seen. from Pace, Fl 32571 by Ferren

Comment: what the average indivdual thinks in relatively unimportant....it's all about what the investment community thinks....the ones who supply money for businesses to grow....the answer is in the stock markets....all down about 25% since the new president took office and began the "stimulus" process. from gulf breeze florida by nelson

Comment: I am a military man looking to rejoin the civilian world. This may be my opportunity, and America's opportunity to refocus our efforts from the frontlines to the homefront. from Gulf Breeze, FL by Egas

Comment: Too much Pork involved, can't spend that. from Milton,Fl by H

Comment: This same idea didn't work for FDR and it won't work this time. The government has only ever created problems when it comes to the economy. This will cause nothing but inflation because Democratics will end up raising taxes on those that control the jobs which will put more people in the private sector out of work. from Cantonment by Chester

Comment: The "stimulis" package should be divided equally by each tax paying legal citizen instead of a handout to the rich and infamous. My wife's hours at work are being cut but yet everything is costing more. What is the definition of "Stimulis" again? from Navarre by Pete

Comment: This bill is about paying back Obama's contributors. Rather than helping it will make things worse in the long run. from Navarre. FL by Mort

Comment: Nope, and Obama is the fall guy. Unions have destroyed this country with thier wages, making everything rise in price, and , sorry to say, the only thing that will cure this problem is another depression, even worse than 1930's, and, I believe it is going to happen whithin the next year. Crime will increase drastically and "Joe the Homeowner" needs to prepare to protect his property and family. from Lillian,Al by Joe

Comment: Yes. However notnearly as much as it could considering the amount of money being wasted on non stimulus pork projects. The Dems were more interested in their own districts than the out of work Americans. from Gulf Breeze, FL by Don

Comment: If we do nothing I believe the country will really be in big trouble. Hope it gets the jobs out there. from Navarre, Fl. by C J

Comment: everything i've read about the stimulus package points to growth in jobs and and money for people to SPEND on other things but taxes! this will eventually reverse the trend in our economy. i cannot believe one single republican voted for it! the way they have managed money in the last 8 years have put us where we are right now! we already know the "trickle-down" economics do not work and only concentrate money to a select few...i was always wondering why i did not get the same tax relief and loop holes that the highest earners got? and why people (republicans)who are not benefitting from this is still supporting their trickle down stuff? it seem like every time a republican gets into office (executive and majority in congress), the economy is left in shambles (i.e. pay backs to the corporates that gave them money to let the industries govern itself?...what a joke!) and when a democrat leaves office the economy is booming and the government is running at a surplus...that pretty much tells you who governs the fairest and best in this multi-cultural, multi-religious nation! the republicans tried...and their best was not good enough...let someone else's idea a try now! from p'cola fl by h

Comment: KNOW I DO NOT THINK IT WILL.I THINK THEY WILL END UP SPENDING MORE MONEY.AND WAY DO THEY HAVE STUFF IN THERE FOR NONE US PEOPLE.SO THEY CAN GET MORE OF OUR TAX MONEY. from milto/fl by neal

Comment: The stimulus plan contains all of the bills the Democrats could not pass with George Bush in office. They don't care about the American economy as long as they can get what they want. from Cantonment Florida by Robert

Comment: No this bill is just another big govenment giveaway. The ones that work will still pay to the ones that don't, via the governmnet. Supply an demand works only if it allowed to work. See you in the bread lines from Navarre FL by Jim

Comment: With Bush sitting on his butt for 8 years swimming in oil...that created this economy...remember, we voted for change...want to spend another 8 years like the last? Wake up..life is always a gamble. from Pensacola/FL by D
